We are looking for a: Stress Analyst
Site: Torino / Venegono Superiore / Pomigliano D’Arco
Responsabilities:
The purpose of work is to conduct structural end fatigue analyses of composite and metal parts through hand calculations (i.e Excel spreadsheets) and FEM specialistic activities.
FE Analysis:
1. Perform Linear and Non-linear FE Analysis using commercial Pre and Post software (e.g., Apex, Patran, Hypermesh) and common solvers (e.g., MSC.Nastran);
2. Conduct Explicit FE Analysis (Bird Strike, Crash, Impact) using LS-Dyna, MSC.Nastran SOL 700 (Dytran), or Radioss.
Support and Testing:
3. Provide support for manufacturing and in-service structural parts throughout their lifecycle;
4. Contribute to structural test requirements and compare analytical vs. experimental results;
5. Prepare stress analysis reports and test assessment reports.
Collaboration:
6. Collaborate with the Airvehicle department for loads;
7. Work with the Design department for CAD surfaces;
8. Coordinate with Large Structural Laboratories for detailed tests, sub-components tests, and full-scale tests;
9. Engage with the Material & Processes team for materials allowable.
Education: Master’s Degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering.

Requirements:
10. Proficiency in FEM software and solvers;
11. Experience with explicit FE Analysis;
12. Good programming for scripting (i.e. python, VBA) is required.
