As an Expert Market Analyst, you will join Plenitude Societa Benefit. Specifically, the Global Quants & Market Analysis team, part of the Energy Management area, acts as a point of reference and liaison to support various functions, including Front Office, Sales, and Renewables. This role requires constant updates on key data and information and the production of analyses to support both Energy Management and various business needs.Key activities
Manage the daily analysis of energy commodity market scenarios and trends to support long- and short-term portfolio management activities.Produce periodic and on-demand reports to illustrate the main drivers and indicators of the energy markets.Oversee the management and operational updating of long-term fundamental models for the analysis of Italian and international electricity market prices.Conduct analysis of short-term weather forecasts and seasonal scenarios, producing daily reporting on key indicators.Develop, configure and use fundamental models and technical analysis of energy markets.Conduct specific analyses on markets and businesses of interest to Plenitude (end customers, generation, e-mobility, etc.) to support corporate strategies.
Required characteristics
Master's degree in Energy Engineering, Economics and Finance, or a STEM field. Different and/or lower qualifications and fields of study may be considered if significant experience in the role is demonstrated.At least 3 years of experience gained in the field.Knowledge of energy commodity markets and the main elements of quantitative finance.Knowledge of and use of the main data and information providers (Bloomberg and/or Refinitiv).Knowledge and mastery of programming languages (Python).Knowledge and proficiency in business intelligence tools (PowerBI).Good knowledge of the English language.
