JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of Director – B2C Performance & Merchandising sits within the Marketing Operations team and reports to the Head of Marketing Operations. You will drive the growth of all B2C platforms by defining and implementing the group merchandising strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and continuously improving performance.
* Define the Group Merchandising Strategy and lead its implementation across 11 B2C site IDs.
* Develop glocal merchandising guidelines for homepage and key tabs, ensuring alignment with brand and local specifics.
* Lead a cross‑European team of 4 B2C merchandisers and 3 interns, managing tasks, coaching, and performance.
* Define and maintain daily quality indicators (e.g., segmentation, offer quality score) to assess attractivity and optimize traffic allocation.
* Collaborate with planning teams to deliver balanced and optimized merchandising plans.
* Own the creation and refinement of a daily attractivity tool.
* Build and improve processes and reporting to drive efficiency and insight, including hidden‑product procedures on the homepage.
* Monitor B2C performance per country and set up relevant actions to support growth.
* Track full funnel performance and web‑behaviour analytics (Mixpanel) to enhance platform performance.
* Develop and maintain marketing reports and dashboards to track business and performance.
* Own reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
TASKS
* Merchandising: Define and implement the group merchandising strategy on all B2C platforms.
* Daily attractivity: Develop and use daily quality indicators; collaborate with planning teams; contribute to a new daily attractivity tool.
* Process & reporting: Improve processes (e.g., hidden product procedures) and driving efficiency & insight.
* B2C performance: Monitor daily performance per platform; support action plans; identify strategic levers.
* Member experience: Collaborate with growth, data science, UX, agency, CRM to improve homepage and tab performance and enhance member experience.
* Data expertise: Track full funnel performance, web behaviour analytics, KPI monitoring, reporting, and ownership of stakeholder reporting.
* Team management: Lead cross‑European team; operational excellence; coaching; international mindset; HR contact.
* Collaboration with other teams: Collaborate closely with planning & marketing colleagues; key local stakeholders; spokesperson for marketing topics.
