A Day in the Life:Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team members are experienced professionals with extensive knowledge of the healthcare value chain and diverse expertise across multiple disciplines. They collaborate with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways, and optimize operations. As a Buyer within the Procurement Team, reporting to the Functional Manager, you will support sourcing medical devices used in services, negotiate commercial terms in alignment with agreed purchasing strategies, develop and maintain relationships with key strategic suppliers of NGC, and manage relationships with important internal stakeholders. You will also handle operational activities related to procurement and, when necessary, analyze business and market data to ensure the most advantageous purchasing strategies are in place for NGC. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: - Development and implementation of purchasing strategies and deals - Research, identification, and management of new suppliers and alternative products - Maintenance of long-term supplier relationships to ensure consistent product supply - Optimization of delivery times, payment terms, and consignment stock - Management of internal stakeholder relationships and communication - Analysis of prices, market data, and preparation of RFQs (Request for quotations).
