You will be responsible for journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and oversight of accounting outcomes produced by other teams. We are looking for accounting knowledge, the ability to coordinate across multiple remote internal partners, and responsibility for period‑end close processes to deliver accurate financial information. /p pYou will report to the bGAC Manager /b and be located in bMonfalcone, Italy /b. bThis is a hybrid role based in Monfalcone, Italy, with a requirement to work onsite 2 to 3 days per week. /b /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnsure compliance with bUS GAAP, Local GAAP /b, and company accounting policies in all journal booking activities /li liPerform bmonthly, quarterly, and annual GL journal entries /b and support month‑end close processes to ensure all required entries are posted accurately /li liPrepare bmonthly balance sheet reconciliations /b, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution with relevant teams /li liOversee financial accounting outcomes of business processes performed by other teams, including bFixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, consumable inventories, HR payables, and intercompany invoicing /b /li liEnsure timely and accurate completion of bstatutory and statistical reporting /b, including bIntrastat, Istat, Banca d'Italia /b, and related requirements /li liSupport bGlobal Treasury /b activities, including bank reconciliations and weekly and month‑end cash forecasting /li liSupport bGlobal Tax /b by providing requested financial information /li liSupport the bstatutory financial statements preparation /b process and support binternal and external audits /b /li liConduct bad hoc financial analyses /b /li liCoordinate with shared services, global finance teams, and remote partners to resolve accounting issues and ensure smooth financial close /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul libBachelor's degree (Laurea Triennale) /b in bAccounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field /b /li lib5 to 7+ years of experience /b in accounting or finance roles /li libItalian Chartered Accountant /b preferred, or equivalent professional experience /li liKnowledge of baccounting principles /b and financial reporting standards /li liAdvanced proficiency with bMS Office applications /b, particularly bExcel /b /li liExperience working with bERP systems /b (SAP preferred) /li liExperience within bglobal organizations /b, including standardized financial processes and interaction with shared services and business unit finance teams /li liExperience with bItalian GAAP /b, project accounting, and revenue recognition under bpercentage of completion /b is a plus /li liExperience operating in a bnon‑transactional oversight role /b, ensuring accuracy and completeness of activities performed by others /li libFluent in Italian /b and badvanced English proficiency (C1) /b /li /ul h3Export Control Compliance /h3 pEmployment opportunities may require access to information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
