MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Collaborate with the delivery team to translate business requirements into comprehensive test plans and robust strategies.
2. Execute and monitor manual functional and regression tests to verify that our solutions meet performance, usability, and technical standards.
3. Identify, document, and drive the resolution of defects.
4. Produce and maintain accurate test documentation and reporting while enhancing testing coverage and processes.
5. Ensure solutions meet industry and legal standards and promote a culture of quality across the development lifecycle.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
6. Computer Science Degree
7. 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role within a software company
8. Proficiency in software testing principles and methodologies (SDLC & Agile), software architecture and programming concepts
9. Familiarity with transactional, high-volume systems
10. Experience with CI/CD tools & scripting languages
11. Web & mobile testing API testing, SQL and Linux environments
12. Knowledge of IT security practices and digital commerce regulations
13. Exposure to automated testing tools will be considered a plus
14. Experience with issue tracking tools, e.g., Jira is a plus
15. Familiarity with version control and build tools such as Git and Maven is a plus
