Experteer Overview
In this role you will design and implement data center facility projects to meet business needs, oversee regular inspections and preventive maintenance, and collaborate with the Building Facility team to maintain reliable power, cooling, fire protection and environmental controls. You will troubleshoot facility incidents, monitor performance with data and metrics, and develop documentation and standards to ensure compliance. You will support the data center operations team and stakeholders, contributing to Generali's digitization and cloud initiatives through robust infrastructure.

- Perform inspections, audits, and preventive maintenance of data center IT facilities and equipment
- Collaborate with the Building Facility team to ensure proper maintenance of building facilities and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve data center facility issues/incidents promptly
- Monitor and optimize facility performance using data and metrics
- Develop and update facility documentation, procedures and standards

Responsabilità
- Bachelor in Engineering
- 3+ years in data center facility engineering or management
- Solid knowledge of data center design principles and standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute)
- Proficient with data center IT systems and technologies
- Familiar with DCIM, BMS, CMDB
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication, collaboration and project management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, on-call and occasional off-hours/weekend work
- English and Italian fluency
- Willingness to travel internationally (Europe) up to 20%
