We are on the lookout for a System administrator to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Ispra in an on site position.
For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.
Your Role
The selected person will need to be able to support both daily operations for relevant services and contribute to the execution of new projects. Main activities for the profile entail both Service and Projects on all areas related to the required Knowledge and skills section below.

Requirements
Who we think you are:
* Expert level
* Switching Technologies (Particularly for Cisco), layer 2 network design. CCNA (CCNP as a plus) level certification from Cisco or any other networking vendor demonstrating knowledge on the switching area of networking.
* Routing Technologies, dynamic routing protocols, layer 3 network design.
* Wi-Fi Technologies (Particularly for Cisco products)
* Network protocol services (NTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP...)
* Cisco ACI networking technology (hardware knowledge also a plus)
* VMware NSX platform
* Network Quality of Service techniques and technologies.
* Network Security techniques and technologies.
* Administrator/Operator level
* System administration of Linux servers (RedHat Enterprise Linux, CentOS and others).
* Network Access Control systems (NAC).
* Operating and monitoring of infrastructure, systems and servers (PRTG preferred).
* IDS/IPS Network intrusion detection technologies.
* Firewalling Technologies (Particularly Cisco and Fortinet systems)
* VPN standards and technologies
* Network logging systems (Syslog and SIEM log correlation applications)
* Other cross-cutting competencies: LAN technologies, TCP/IP protocol, Netbox
* Experience creating technical documentation.
* Good communications skills in English
* Administration of server virtualization platforms (ie. Vmware)
