Ph3Overview /h3 pWe are looking for a Piping Engineer who will join our Construction Department at our headquarters in Parma. The Resource will be responsible for managing the discipline activity and project team, ensuring that corporate and project procedures are correctly implemented, and that project deliverables are issued according to the schedule and within approved budget. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liKnowlege and comment contract contents and related technical discipline annexes; in case of discrepancies, mistakes or deficiencies, develop a list of clarifications/comments to be submitted to the Discipline Lead Engineer and subsequently to PEM. /li liPrepare technical specifications including applicable standards, if not included in contract technical documentation. /li liManagement of discipline man-hours, promptly reporting any disruptions and/or any additional requirements to PEM. /li liAttendance to Project Meetings (kick off and project review meeting) as well as meeting with Client, if requested by PEM. /li liProduce the Discipline project deliverables list, including checking requirements by the other discipline. /li liAct as checker and/or approver for all Discipline deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, reports, etc.). /li liVerify the engineering documents of Subcontractor and Vendor. /li liEstablish and maintain effective interface with the other Project Disciplines Teams, Project Management, Client Representative. /li liEnsure adequate flow of design information between team members. /li liExamine the contractual Vendor List with Procurement Department. /li liProvide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. /li liProvide progress reporting and forecasting input to the Project Controls Department. /li liEnsure that working procedures are followed and that compliance with relevant Quality Systems is achieved. /li liEnsure deliverables quality in term of technical content, compliance with design criteria, international standards and contractual requirements. /li liMonitor design discrepancies between detail phase and bidding phase (quantities and equipment dimensions). /li liProvide Vendor follow-up technical support, if required by other disciplines. /li liProvide Client follow-up technical support, if required by PEM. /li liDevelop the 3D Model specific area and support to 3D Model Coordinator (Smart Plant Specialist) according to 3D Model Procedure. /li liProvide technical support during bidding phase and man-hours estimation. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liPiping Engineer with a minimum stay of 3-4 years in the role being able to preside individually the full life cycle of a EPC project. /li liConsolidate knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Piping Engineering, 3D Model, stress Analysis, Layout and accurate competences of techniques and tools. /li liProficiency in understanding and working with testing circuits and PID. /li liExperience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or similar, proficiency in Excel or comparable spreadsheet software and familiarity with 3D model navigation tools like Navisworks or equivalent. /li liGood communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing ability, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, leadership qualities and efficient team management skills, adaptability and stress tolerance. /li liFluent in English. /li liPlace of work: Parma (Pr) /li /ul pThis position is open to candidates of all genders, in full compliance with Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 and subsequent amendments, and Legislative Decrees No. 215 and No. 216 of 2003 on equal treatment.
