Overview

Position Summary

* The primary focus of this role is to drive the marketing strategy, plan and budget for TÜV SÜD in Italy. The position plays an integral role in aligning sales and marketing efforts in support of TÜV SÜD’s business objectives. The role will support all parts of the Italian business which operates in a variety of industries from consumer, energy, food, industrial and mobility sectors.
* This role would suit a proactive and well organised individual who is able to build a strong rapport with stakeholders at all levels across the business. The individual will be working in close cooperation with Business Managers, Sales and Regional Experts, to create, localise, implement, and optimise marketing campaigns to generate quality leads and foster sales conversion with the aim to achieve the Company sales targets and goals.

Qualifications


Responsibilities and duties

* Marketing strategy: Partner with the Divisions and Business Units to develop a marketing strategy and plan to deliver on the business strategy and goals.
* Marketing campaigns: Develop, create, localize and execute brand and product marketing programs to deliver on the marketing objectives.
* Lead generation: Accelerate end to end customer journey and sales pipeline by creating, executing, optimizing and analysing lead generation campaigns to generate new business growth.
* Web shop sales: Drive marketing campaigns to increase the traffic and visibility of the web shop, optimising shop performance to increase conversion rates and sales generation.
* Brand guardianship: Act as brand guardian and ensure global alignment in messaging, corporate identity, and design.
* Content strategy and plan: Oversee content strategy for specific business segments; creating relevant and effective thought leadership and lead generation assets to attract, convert and retain customers across different stages of the customer journey.
* Campaign effectiveness: Ensure marketing effectiveness by measuring, tracking, and reporting campaign metrics and providing actionable insight into performance.
* Budget: Monitor and manage marketing budget and keep track of all expenses for marketing activities to ensure cost-effectiveness.
* Content creation: Work closely with experts and the markets to create and curate high quality and engaging content such as whitepapers, e-books, webinars, and articles.
* Marketing effectiveness: Work closely with the digital marketing team to execute, measure and optimize campaigns; demonstrating the impact of marketing activities on business objectives.


Education and experience

* Degree in Marketing, Management, Business Administration, or other relevant degree is advantageous.
* A minimum of 5 years marketing experience in a B2B environment, and 3 years leading a team.
* Experience in the TIC sector is desirable.


Essential skills

* Competent in all areas of marketing including strategy, sales enablement, lead nurturing, brand building, budgetary control, CRM, thought leadership and demand generation.
* Digital-first mindset with an analytical and data-driven approach to demand generation with the ability to track and report on long-term and complex campaign performance metrics.
* Ability to get things done; solution-based thinking coupled with agility.
* Strong interpersonal skills with strong customer focus to establish positive relations.
* Strategic Orientation - Lead & Develop People - Manage & Lead Change - Manage & Engage Stakeholders
* Excellent command of verbal and written content in both Italian and English languages.
* Clear and articulate presentation ability with excellent communication skills.
* Self-disciplined and results-driven.
* Comfortable using marketing and sales platforms including Sitecore, Market, Google Analytics, LinkedIn, SAP CRM or equivalent platforms.
* Proven record of supporting sales to meet or exceed pipeline and revenue targets.
