What you will do
Reporting directly to the Haier Europe Global Indirect Procurement Category Manager – Facility, the intern will support in the following activities:
- Definition of procurement and purchasing strategies in relation to the optimization of the quality / cost ratio;
- Management of the relationship with internal stakeholders for a proactive definition of operational business needs;
- RFQ management in collaboration with the company functions concerned, carrying out scouting of suppliers, communication management, evaluation of the offers received, definition of project deliverables, SLA and penalties;
- Drafting of contracts in collaboration with the legal department and issuance of orders in the company ERP;
- Identification of new suppliers to strategically increase the supply base;
- Analysis of purchase costs and preparation of reports that highlight the KPIs of the nature of the expenses assigned to him/her;
- Archiving of documentation relating to offers, negotiations and existing contracts and the related terms of expiry, renewal, and cancellation of the same.
Who we are looking for
Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Economics or similar fields;
Available to start soon to a full-time internship;
Fluent in both English and Italian (minimum B2 level);
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
We offer a six-month paid internship
