It is a simple, scalable and secure platform, that gives an operator full control over the information flow in an easy and intuitive way for faster and efficient decision making. /p pWe are seeking a skilled developer to join our dynamic product development team who can be part of the Barco CTRL product group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and developing the Linux distribution primarily based on Debian and buildroot. You will work closely with our global feature teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Linux operating system and a passion for creating scalable and efficient Software platforms. /p h3About the Role /h3 pAs Lead Development Engineer – Operating System you will : /p ul liBuild Maintain the Linux distribution for all Barco products. /li liDistributions Based On Debian BuildRoot /li liKeep upstream (open source) dependencies up-to-date (e.g. Linux kernel, docker containers…) /li liEnsure end-to-end security of Barco devices (e.g. device certificates, secure boot etc.) /li liLead and contribute on design, development and maintenance of software infrastructure tools and platform /li liGain a deep understanding of the Barco control room product, becoming proficient in all its features. /li liAdhere to best practices in code quality, security, and software development. /li liWork with cross-functional teams across multiple groups, geographies, and time zones. /li liEnsure the delivery of high-quality, timely product releases. /li liGuide and mentor fellow colleagues. /li /ul h3Qualifications and Experience /h3 pWe are seeking experience with the following technologies / domains : /p h3Education /h3 ul liB. Tech. / B. E. / M. E. / M. Tech. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul li8-12 years of Expertise in Linux systems, Shell Scripting and OS level debugging /li liGood understanding GNU make internals /li liSecurity fundamentals, encryption, signing etc. /li liIn depth knowledge of Linux Operating System internals /li liGood understanding of Buildroot, buld mechanism- Adding a package, applying patches etc. /li liEFI, secure boot, TPM, disk encryption, signed upgrades /li liC / Golang Programming language is nice to have /li liAwareness ofJava, Javascript and Python technologies is nice to have /li liExperience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker). /li liExperienced in Test driven development (TDD), good experience with CI / CD, DevOps practices. /li liExperience of working with source code control tools like Github. /li liExperience in designing, implementing, and supporting reusable and maintainable API’s and services. /li liGood experience in leading technical tracks in product development. /li liKnowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is good to have. /li liStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. /li liExcellent communication and teamwork skills. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
