Ph3Job Title /h3pbJob title : Mainframe Cloud Chief Architect /b /ppbLocation /b: Chicago, IL / Edison, NJ / Dallas, TX /ppbSalary range /b: $150k - $183k a year + Fulltime benefits /ppbFulltime /b /p h3Job Description /h3 pbSpecialization: /b Mainframe Computing /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul li bStrategy Design: /b ul liDevelop a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business goals. /li liDesign scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. /li liEvaluate and select cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM, Nutanix, Neo Cloud, etc.) and third-party tools. /li /ul /li li bSolution Design: /b ul liArchitect tailored cloud solutions that leverage best practices and meet specific client requirements, utilizing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Private Cloud, DC Solutions. /li liUnderstand client requirements and prepare appropriate cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Hybrid / Multi-Cloud, Hardware OEMs, Network, Security). /li /ul /li li bTechnical Presentations: /b ul liConduct workshops and presentations to demonstrate solution feasibility and value, fostering trust and engagement with stakeholders. /li /ul /li li bProof of Concept (POC): /b ul liLead the design and implementation of POCs to validate proposed solutions, transitioning these into larger-scale engagements. /li /ul /li li bImplementation Management: /b ul liGuide technical solution development in engagements related to Legacy modernization, migration of applications and infrastructure to hybrid cloud, Engineered cloud, etc. /li liEnsure optimal performance of cloud systems through monitoring and troubleshooting. /li liCollaborate with IT security teams to maintain data privacy and compliance. /li /ul /li li bCollaboration Leadership: /b ul liWork closely with developers, DevSecOps engineers, and business analysts to deliver solutions. /li liProvide technical guidance to teams on cloud best practices. /li liStay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends. /li /ul /li /ul h3Mandatory Qualifications /h3 ul li13+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in architecture or 10 years in engineering roles related to hybrid cloud solutions, with a proven track record of successful client engagements. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liProficiency in two or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM, Nutanix, Neo Cloud, etc.). /li liExperience in architecting applications leveraging containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Cloud native (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Hybrid / Multi-Cloud, Hardware OEMs, Network, Security, Microservices, FinOps, iPaaS and APIs, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines. /li liStrong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles. /li liExcellent communication abilities to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to articulate technical concepts. /li /ul h3Desired Skills /h3 ul liKnowledge of specific industry verticals (e.g., BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing). /li liTechnical certifications related to cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert). /li liRelevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred; must obtain certification within 90 days of employment. /li liUnderstanding of DevOps concepts. /li liAbility to lead cross-functional teams effectively. /li /ul pDiverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
