Within the Electronics business area, we are seeking Addetto CTO - area GCAP for our Nerviano (MI) location.
The candidate will work on Airborne Computers and Smart Cockpit Displays, focusing on technologies and products for GCAP, especially Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA), in a dynamic environment with advanced technological developments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop business plans in collaboration with the relevant Business Area, considering market evaluations and sales opportunities.
2. Identify and monitor technological trends.
3. Support and collaborate with external entities (industrial/research).
4. Participate in thematic Working Groups with Defense entities and GCAP partners.
5. Assist engineering teams in defining technological choices, focusing on design to cost and design for manufacturing.
6. Support manufacturing engineering in defining processes and selecting suitable materials/components for new product development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering; Physics degree with solid electronics background can be considered.
* Experience: 3-5 years (Expert level).
* Technical skills include knowledge of avionics computing solutions, CPU/GPU architectures, communication buses, safety and certification issues (optional), DO254/178C processes (optional), HW/SW design and development processes, product evaluation, and economic analysis.
* Proficiency in Office suite.
* Behavioral skills: passion for technology, excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented, proactive.
* Language: Fluent in English (C1 level).
* Willingness to work mainly onsite with short trips domestically and abroad after training.
