Find your future with us. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pBoeing Global Services (BGS) are seeking a bQuality Assurance Specialist / Certifying Staff, /bbased in bPratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome, Italy /bb. /b /p pThe KC-767A Italy Tanker Program supports the Italian Air Force (ltAF) KC-767A fleet located at Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy. This Program is a part of the Government Services of the Boeing Global Services Division. The Site at Pratica di Mare is accredited as AER(EP).P-145 and is completing the accreditation UNI EN 9110:2018. /p h3Position Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport schedule and unscheduled maintenance events as Certifying Staff for both Line and Heavy Maintenance with the responsibility of the airworthiness and the Release to Service of the aircraft. /li liOversee maintenance tasks execution, verifying compliance with approved data (e.g., AMM, SBs, ADs) and procedures. /li liManage and accurately complete technical documentation (Task Cards, Pick Up Cards, 8130, EASA Form One) in a timely manner to support the release of the aircraft to the operations on time. And on quality /li liVerify that required inspections are completed and any identified defects are corrected or properly deferred. /li liEnsure certification of tools, of test equipment and of personnel are current. /li liExecute RII inspections as mandated by the Maintenance Manuals /li liCollaborate to maintain the Quality Assurance Operational Instructions and collaborate with the team to improve methods and procedures by analyzing data to identify root cause of problems. /li liOriginate and/or participate in the release of Occurrence Reports as part of the Site Continuous Improvement Process. /li liExecute in-tank inspections and FOD check. /li liSupport internal and external audits to maintain the Site Accreditations. /li liWork under general supervision. /li liWork in rotating shifts, 5 days a week from Monday to Saturday. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications/Experience and Person Specification /h3 ul liEASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License B1/B2 (license on B767 is preferred). Additional experience as Certifying Staff C is a plus. /li liLicenses on Boeing aircraft types is desirable. /li liMinimum of 5 years’ experience on flight line, base maintenance is preferred. /li liAvailable to be qualified for fuel tank entry /li liUnderstanding of Maintenance Plan Document, Aircraft Service Bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives’ and Service letters. /li liExperience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical data /li liFamiliarity with Military Regulations EMAR 145 is a plus /li liExperience with AS9110C Quality Management System would be preferred /li liFamiliarity with Boeing web-based Information Systems such as: My Boeing Fleet, and a technical inquiry request system is desirable. /li liFluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken. /li liProficient in Microsoft Office suite.
