Reporting hierarchically to the Managing Director Italy and functionally to the Production and Asset Director in France, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all photovoltaic power plants in Italy from their commissioning and throughout their operation duration supported by company Asset Director and her team. You will be responsible for the operating results of the SPVs, accountable for the performance of the plants, and the operational, contractual and administrative management of the portfolio. You will be the main contact of all operational third parties (O&M, H&S, electricity off-takers, GSE, e-distribuzione…). Responsibilities
Manage (including negotiation and implementation) all contractual and operational aspects, rights and obligations related to the operational contracts (e.g. electricity off-take contracts, GSE contracts, outsourced asset management contracts (if any), O&M agreements, H&S agreements, leases…) in accordance with the Group guidelines and strategy, involving the appropriate departments and ensuring adequate coordination. Check the respect of performance guarantees provided by EPC contractors until 2 years after COD. Manage the interface with the O&M contractors for support and validation in the management of technical aspects and for guarantees check. Check the technical reports of the O&M contactors and request further clarifications if necessary to ensure adequate monitoring of the system’s performance. Work with technical teams to secure the resources needed to implement improvement initiatives. Monitor key indicators (production, availability, sales, …etc.) by asset on a monthly basis - Analyze variances against budget. Manage insurance policies and any claims in relationship with the insurance companies and the O&M contractors. Fulfill all the obligations required by the grid operator, the market, the regulator and/or any other institutions regarding contractual or market requirements. Draw up and monitor annual operating budgets with the aim of maximizing the profitability of the assets. Control and approve invoicing and periodically verify and monitor the energy metering of the systems in order to guarantee the regular and consistent flow of revenues to the companies (PPA, FER and GOs revenues) Maintain contact with the Finance department for accounting, taxes, treasury, planning, controlling & reporting activities and in the preparation of financial statements and other relevant reports and declarations for the assigned companies. Support and/or prepare internal and external periodic reporting related to asset management activities.
Qualifications
Degree in engineering At least 2 years’ experience in companies operating in the photovoltaic energy sector Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, predisposition for teamwork and relationships with various internal and external contacts Excellent knowledge of Excel, Office & management softwares Good knowledge of the electricity market regulation would be a plus Good knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level) Knowledge of the French language is a plus Driving license (on-site visits are to be expected)
