The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager position at our warehouse and delivery network requires a skilled professional who can lead a team of engineering technicians.
The ideal candidate will have significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles managing people, and be multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
They should also have experience working with automated equipment, such as packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems, and be able to communicate effectively in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
In addition, they should have solid computer skills, including MS Office and CAD software.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and mentor the team to ensure they are working in a safe, standard, and efficient manner.
* Work with the team and wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
* Support the Reliability Engineering Manager in implementing, recording, and auditing safety and statutory compliance programs.
* Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide high equipment availability to internal customers.
* Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available by organizing and directing the training program for the team.
* Organize local projects or support EU level projects as assigned by the manager.
Basic Qualifications
* Significant practical engineering experience including supervisory roles managing people.
* Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
* Experience working with automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
* Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
* Solid computer skills (MS Office, CAD).
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
* Full working knowledge of specialized engineering and facilities equipment within the Fulfillment Center (FC) as well as maintenance and safety procedures.
* Experience working with PLC based control systems.
* Project Management experience.
* Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs.
* Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Process.
