Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Desktop Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical assistance and ensure the smooth operation of end-user devices and systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a wide range of hardware and software environments.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user technical issues (hardware, software, and network).
* Diagnose and resolve incidents promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
* Manage operating system deployments and software installations using standard tools.
* Provide VIP and deskside support to senior management and critical business users.
* Maintain IT asset inventory and update support documentation.
* Collaborate with the IT team to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop or IT support roles.
* Strong proficiency with Windows 7, 10, and 11 operating systems.
* Experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint management tools.
* Knowledge of imaging tools (Ghost, MDT) and data migration / backup tools (USMT).
* Familiarity with mobile device support and basic networking concepts.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
* Preferred certifications: MCSA, CompTIA A+, or ITIL Foundation.
* Language: English Professional (required); Professional Italian (required).
