The candidate will be employed in the Telespazio product line department located in theFucino Space Centre(Italy) and will take part inEASE-Missionsoftware development.
EASE-Mission product concerns different module related to space mission ground segment such as Satellite Control Centre, Flight dynamics module, Antenna scheduler module and Network operation centre module.
The entire software is based on cloud native technologies and the microservices architecture plays an important role in the landscape.
Main responsibilities
Requirements analysis;
SW configuration control;
Unit testing;
Integration testing;
System testing and validation;
SW corrective maintenance;
Drafting documentation or contributing to project documentation (manuals, architectural drawing, user stories and test documents);
Participation in technical and progress meetings.
Qualification
University degree in computer science or other relevant discipline
Skills & experience
Knowledge of the Angular programming language
Professional experience of at least2 yearsin structured contexts, on back-end WEB projects where the following technologies have been used: Java 11, Spring, Spring boot.
Experience in building back-end architectures;
Knowledge of version control tools such as SVN and GIT;
Knowledge of tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Kafka;
Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
Knowledge of microservice architectures;
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals;
Good knowledge of the English language;
Knowledge of system engineering standards and methodologies in aspects relevant to space operational systems;
Strengths in analysis, synthesis and presentation, coupled with very good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to apply these to the interactions within a team and between teams.
Working place
Fucino Space Centre, occasionally remotely.
Availability to work abroad for a limited period.
