We are looking for two highly motivated and experienced Technical Aftersales Specialist to join the MG Italy aftersales team:
* Technical Aftersales Specialist for passenger vehicles
* Technical Aftersales Specialist for commercial vehicles
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing second-level technical support to workshops, dealerships, and customers, assisting in the resolution of complex technical issues related to vehicles and automotive systems.
Key Results/Accountabilities expected from the role
* Provide remote technical support (via phone, email, and ticketing systems) on mechanical, electronic, and diagnostic issues.
* Analyze and resolve complex faults in collaboration with engineering and quality departments.
* Draft technical documentation and intervention reports.
* Collaborate with the training team to update technical content for workshops and field technicians.
* Monitor and report recurring fault trends to contribute to continuous product improvement.
* Use advanced diagnostic tools and OEM software for vehicle analysis.
* Deliver training sessions for the aftersales staff of the authorized network, including:
* Technical training
* Product training
* Process training
* Travel to dealerships and workshops to manage complex technical issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
* Support the technical onboarding of new dealers, including initial training, configuration of diagnostic tools, and verification of service processes.
Experience & Expertise:
* Degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
* Excellent knowledge of diagnostic and workshop processes.
* Experience with electric or hybrid vehicles.
* Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with spare parts and warranty portals.
* Excellent written and spoken English skills.
* Understanding of logistics processes related to automotive spare parts management.
* Willingness to travel.
