Lippert Marine, with its brand Lewmar, presents to its customers a portfolio of hardware, winches, hydraulics, windlasses, anchors, thrusters, steering systems, hatches and portlights to suit every boat from the smallest day fisher to largest mega-yacht.
**LEAN COORDINATOR**
**_Job Summary_**
Reporting to the Lean Manager and working closely to the GMs, the LEAN Coordinator will promote and spread the LEAN culture and continuous improvement tools and actions across LCI Italy manufacturing plants.
**_Tasks_**
- Work closely to the GMs of LCI Italy plants in setting the improvement projects and their targets.
- Define action plans details, according to lean methods and tools.
- Participate in the evaluation of the actions required to optimize processes by working on technological aspects, review of work-flows. All taking care about mind-set of people and their needs.
- Analyze, evaluate and execute appropriate actions required for process engineering design and improvement.
- Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization supporting all the team members to ensure the accomplishment of the action plan.
- Help proactively all the plants to seize the improvements opportunities and reach the yearly saving goals.
**_Requirements_**
- Engineering Master’s Degree.
- LEAN Six Sigma qualification preferred.
- Previous experience of at least one year held in a similar position within a manufacturing company, with main focus on the industrial engineering improvement activities, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the LEAN tools & methods.
- Solid project and change management skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, operational flexibility.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Availability to travel.
