We are looking for an AI Platform Engineer to join our AI Services and Solutions team. Within the team you will be part of the Engineering chapter exchanging experience, know-how and ideas with other engineers of different seniorities and backgrounds. As AI Platform Engineer you will also collaborate with a horizontal team to manage, improve and evolve our AI Platform on the cloud with state-of-the-art components and features to be leveraged across initiatives. You will be focusing on Analysis, solution design and sizing of Cloud components needed for delivery AI solutions, ensuring system reliability and scalability in production. As an AI Engineer you will participate and lead (depending on seniority) AI solutions delivery across different UniCredit domains and geographies.
What you’ll be doingFor Senior Roles, act as tech lead on horizontal (capabilities and foundations) and vertical (business specific project) delivery. Acting as a focal point for engineering design, planning and execution, holding accountability for milestone achievements and overall project / delivery success.Adopt state of the art technology and cloud-native solutions.Ensure smooth operations through scalable, robust and resilient design of systems.Contribute to the scale-up of AI adoption through the creation of common assets – maintain and evolve Unicredit AI Platform leveraging state of the art cloud components and open-source frameworks.Define best practices and standards for our Cloud infrastructure – including engagement model, delivery model, sizing and monioting.Design and sizing of Cloud components needed for delivery of AI solutions, ensuring system reliability and scalability in production.Design and development of innovative and cutting-edge AI solutions jointly with Architect and Scientist.
