The primary objective of the Security & Loss Prevention coordinator is to ensure the protection of people & assets of Amazon’s FC in accordance with global Security guidelines and Policies.
The role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with stakeholders from business and corporate functions.
To assist the Security Manager in day-to-day activities, planning, sourcing, and executing processes and procedures. The Security Coordinator, along with the Security Team, works together to ensure high-quality and timely support to the organization’s operations.
Responsibilities include:
* Security Operations: Rationalization & Review of Guard Force, Profiling, Implementation & Follow-up of Security Plans, Review of Post Site Instructions, Reporting, SLA management, system functionality, patrolling, vehicle movements, and compliance with 4M & 5S standards.
* Audits & Certifications: Updating SOPs, documentation checks, audit preparations, maintenance of access systems, surprise checks, and 5S audits at frisking points.
* Process Improvement & Loss Prevention: Reviewing and improving processes, quarterly assessments, loss prevention reporting, CAPA follow-up, and audits.
* Scrap Disposal Auditing: Process reviews, vehicle movement monitoring, surprise checks, and cross-functional audits.
* Security System Management: Ensuring system serviceability, training, access control, hygiene and operational effectiveness, preventive maintenance, vendor reviews, reporting, defect follow-ups, and near-miss investigations.
* Loss Prevention Analysis: Collaboration with ICQA, investigation reports, audits, and CAPA management.
* Security Stores & Assets: Maintaining asset lists and schedules.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation with minimum 3 years of experience in Security, Loss Prevention, Shrinkage, Asset Protection, Investigations, or Inventory. Law enforcement or security-related profession experience (3-5 years). Knowledge of security equipment, investigations, information security, and auditing. Exposure to MNC culture.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Same as basic qualifications, emphasizing experience with security investigations, technology, auditing, and MNC exposure.
