TEST ENGINEERING SPECIALIST
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As Test Engineering Specialist, your mission will be to ensure the BDG defined performance in terms of method, plant efficiency, technological choice. But also ensure performance in terms of timing and costs of technologies implementation linked with new product or new processes.
Reporting to the Technological engineering Manager, your main responsibilities will be, by area:
* Customized testing technology identification contribution: contribute to identify and implement innovative technologies to increase productivity, quality, functionality and safety following product specification and company regulation; through suppliers co-design and co-development, trade fairs, etc. Analyzing costs and benefits of potential offers, in agreement with established programs and budget.
* Testing technology Technical Specialist: manage and coordinate projects and investments related to testing machines, testing program, testing process improvement. Direct Labor and Time & Methods analysis working with multi-functional team and in agreement with established Gantt and budget.
* Tools and production machinery: contribute to improve efficiency and method definition in agreement with the productivity action plan. Support new products production with the appropriate testing technology, pre- testing innovative system, regarding software and hardware implementation.
* Standardization: contribute to standardize the finding solutions in a structured way, to facilitate the implementation of this solutions for future similar applications.
* Safety: develop and implement new testing technologies according to safety and ergonomics regulations (internal and external).
Qualifications
WHAT'S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE
* University Degree in Electrical OR Industrial Engineering with at least 3 to 5 years-experience in Process Engineering
* Reading Electrical Drawings for Appliances following the International standards and the state-of-art systems prescription
* Understanding of appliances specifications in terms of electrical, electronic, temperatures, pressure and flow rates parameters. Be able to analyze this data to define HW e SW test specifications in co-design with the supplier
* Data analysis, statistical analysis and creation of models based on collected data
* Experience of factory work organization, methods and layout
* Sound knowledge of lean manufacturing
* Proven experience in evaluating, optimizing, and/or digitalizing processes
* Organization of factory work / methods / layout / knowledge of lean manufacturing; safety regulations knowledge
* Knowledgeable in MS Office package, AutoCAD.
* Fluent English
* You are structured in your approach and have a good solving ability
* Project management capabilities and a leadership attitude
* Able to prioritize and follow up on various projects
* Proven ability to lead collaboration across functional lines to successfully complete projects and meet corporate objectives.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Team worker with positive attitude
* Pro-active and problem solver
