Responsibilities
As Income Auditor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the following:
1. Ascertain that all entertainment checks are approved, and vouchers, checks, registration cards are reported in numeric sequence.
2. Check and verify discrepancies for missing registration cards and TA vouchers.
3. Examine paid-out vouchers, allowance vouchers, and correction vouchers to ensure they have been signed and approved by authorized persons.
4. Verify all departmental sales records and cash register totals, ensuring no checks or vouchers are missing.
5. Verify the Daily Preliminary Revenue Report.
6. Maintain an accountable Form Register, check and note the usage of accountable forms, and report on missing or unaccounted numbers.
7. Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
8. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Income Auditor effectively, I must possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, demonstrating proven results. These include:
1. A diploma or equivalent in Finance or Accounting, professional accounting certification, and at least 1 year experience in a hotel accounting role or similar setting. A hospitality diploma or degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
2. Technical skills such as advanced MS Office, Outlook, Materials Control (MC), and proficiency with 10-key calculators, along with familiarity with hotel systems including POS, PMS, and CRM platforms.
3. Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
4. Eligibility to work in Italy (only EU Citizens).
