About the Role
The Operations Manager will oversee all operational activities in the country, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with Acierta’s quality standards.
This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on operational supervision. The successful candidate will drive coordination between global production teams, local suppliers, installation partners, and clients, ensuring smooth execution across all project phases.
The ideal profile brings strong experience in retail design, events, hospitality, or any fast driven environments, with a solid understanding of fabrication and installation processes and proven leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
* Lead and structure Acierta’s operational activities in Italy.
* Ensure alignment between local execution and global company standards.
* Act as the main operational liaison between Italy and international HUBs.
* Monitor project performance, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
Project & Installation Oversight
* Oversee all projects executed in Italy from an operational standpoint.
* Ensure compliance with approved technical drawings and specifications.
* Coordinate installation schedules in alignment with global production timelines.
* Supervise on-site installations and guarantee quality control standards are met.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to client expectations.
Supplier & Partner Management
* Develop and manage a strong Italian supplier and installation network.
* Oversee supplier performance, quality standards, and contractual compliance.
* Coordinate workflows between global production teams and local partners.
* Maintain high standards of fabrication quality and execution.
Stakeholder & Client Management
* Represent Acierta in client and department store meetings.
* Lead operational meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide regular updates to global teams regarding progress, risks, and milestones.
* Ensure operational transparency and reporting accuracy.
Site Management & Quality Assurance
* Conduct site visits and surveys for upcoming projects.
* Oversee installation phases, including complex or overnight setups when required.
* Ensure installations comply with safety, quality, and brand standards.
Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field are a plus.
* Full proficiency in Italian, Spanish and English (mandatory)
* Strong understanding of fabrication and installation processes.
* Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Rhino or similar) to review and interpret technical drawings.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office; Adobe Suite is a plus.
* Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, project oversight, or senior coordination roles.
* Proven experience managing suppliers and site installations in Italy.
* Experience within retail, luxury, events, or hospitality sectors preferred.
* Experience working within international or matrix organisations is highly valued.
