Key Responsibilities
Develop 2D sketches and 3D exterior architectures for bumpers, fenders, body sides, roof, spoilers, wheels, and trims;Produce high‐quality CAS models for architecture, detail parts, and feasibility phases;Integrate constraints from engineering, homologation, aero, production, DMU, and quality;Support A‐Class surfacing and ensure design intent is maintained;Create renders, design presentations, and executive decks;Support clay and hard model development, including 3D printing, reverse engineering, and tape drawings;Conduct style and technology research, including AI‐assisted concept exploration.
Requirements
3D: Autodesk Alias, Blender;2D: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator; Indesign;Visualization: Keyshot, VRED, Unreal Engine;Presentation: PowerPoint;3+ years in automotive exterior design/CAS modeling;Strong understanding of feasibility, surfacing quality and homologation constraints;Experience with clay/hard models and digital‐to‐physical workflows;Excellent communication, precision, and ability to work under tight milestones.
