Employee Relations Manager (6-month FTC), Europe Employee Relations EXRJob ID: 2948344 | Amazon Italia Transport SrlThe Employee Relations Manager (ERM) is an important role within the EU EXR (Employee Experience and Relations) Field organization, supporting the Country EXR team. This position assists in driving ER activities and initiatives across on the road (OTR) operational business lines within a specific country geography. The primary focus is to support EXR operational excellence, goals, and strategy while addressing the ER needs of the country.The ER Manager works closely with Ops, DSPM and other key in-country stakeholders to support the execution of the country-specific ER strategy. This role involves assisting in the implementation of strategies to address country labour relations challenges for business lines. The ERM provides labour relations support by collaborating with operational teams to advance company objectives.Key job responsibilitiesLabour Relations StrategySupport the implementation of the EXR strategyAssist in delivering business line-specific goals and key initiativesIdentify potential issues and support risk mitigation strategiesMonitor internal EXR environment and external operating contextOperational ExcellenceAnalyze data to support recommendations and measure strategy successEnsure compliance of EXR decisions and activitiesContribute to innovative solutions that challenge current practicesSupport engagement mechanisms to maintain positive workplace environmentsConduct site visits to gather information for ER risk mitigationContribute to EXR reporting activitiesStakeholder CollaborationBuild relationships with peers and internal leadersSupport project management for initiatives aimed at improving associate and driver experienceContribute to the development of standardized ER solutionsThe position reports to the Senior Employee Relations Manager AMZL IT, within the EU Employee Experience and Relations Team at Amazon. This is a full-time position that will require significant travel throughout Italy (up to 50% of the time) and beyond on occasion, sometimes with little or no notice.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree and professional experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law- Fluency in Italian and English (CEFR C2)- Knowledge of Italian labor and employment law- Experience in project management within a matrix environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's Degree in Law, Human Resources or related field- Experience working with third-party contractor workforces- Experience in distribution, logistics and/or transportation industries- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments- Flexibility and good organizational skillsAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
