As a Pre-Sales Consultant at Thales CPL, you will translate customer needs into IAM and CIAM solutions, collaborating with the EMEA sales team. You’ll engage in discovery, contribute to PoC phases, and provide hands‑on guidance for configuration and customization. Expect to work with a broad IAM portfolio, APIs, and cross‑functional stakeholders, traveling to support opportunities across Southern Europe. You will help shape secure, scalable identity solutions for clients.

* Translate customer requirements into real‑world IAM/CIAM solutions for prospects and partners
* Collaborate with EMEA sales and other Pre‑Sales consultants to support Opportunities
* Lead or contribute to Proof of Concept phases and technical evaluations
* Provide hands‑on guidance on configuration/customization of Thales IAM products
* Prepare and present to management and technical audiences (C‑level and IT teams)
* Author product‑focused technical documents (RFIs/RFPs) and support API integrations
* Work with APIs and related tooling (Swagger, Postman, GitHub); engage with integrations across multiple apps
* Travel across Southern Europe (~50% time) to engage customers and partners
* Interface with multiple third‑party applications; continuously learn new technologies and use cases
Responsabilità
* Experience with Consumer Identity Protection, Authentication solutions, or IAM/security products
* Proven ability to present to both management and technical personnel with strong communication and objection handling
* Experience authoring RFIs/RFPs or similar technical documents
* API integration experience; familiarity with Swagger, Postman, GitHub is advantageous
* Understanding of cryptography concepts (PKI, digital signatures, certificates, OpenID Connect, SAML, FIDO) and smart cards; knowledge of HSMs is a plus
* Experience with IAM solutions (trust and assurance, Identity Governance & Administration, Privileged Access Management)
* Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, VPN, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, ADFS and Azure/M365
* Awareness of GDPR/PSD2/eIDAS; ability to discuss compliance implications
* Hands‑on ability to demo and configure solutions for both small user groups and large audiences
* Experience with Value Added Distributors or Resellers is a plus
