Join to apply for the Aero Alliance Avenza Lead Testing Engineer role at Aero Alliance.Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Job Description SummaryThe Lead Testing Engineer, reporting to the Avenza Gate 0 Leader, will be responsible for all testing technical and fulfillment activities of the Avenza LM Service Shop, linked to the overhaul of LM25000 (derived from CF6-6) and LM6000 (derived from CF6-80).The role is intended to be performed on-site, and previous Field Services Engineer experience in Oil Gas Business will be considered a plus.Essential ResponsibilitiesSupport Avenza Shop in managing testing activities at Massa, Kollsnes, and other approved test facilities.Review guarantees, test expectations/requirements, and develop performance test procedures.Analyze data, evaluate results, and define corrective actions.Prepare technical reports for internal and external use.Communicate with customers regarding testing activities and technical issues.Support development and improvement of performance tools and processes.Participate in Shop Operative Rhythm/reviews to support production needs.Serve as a technical reference for Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis.Ensure smooth introduction of new products/processes within Shop Operations.Support new service development initiatives.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or proven experience operating/testing Aeroderivative Engines.Previous Field Services Engineer experience in Oil Gas Business.Ability to synthesize complex technical information.Willingness to travel for global assignments.Ability to interact across all organizational levels.Fluency in Italian and English.Desired CharacteristicsKnowledge/experience with engines like LM2500, LM6000, LM9000, CF6-6, CF6-80, GE90-115B is a plus.Experience as a Field Service Engineer.Ability to work in a dynamic environment.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Solution-oriented and problem solver.Customer interaction experience is a plus.About UsAero Alliance is a joint venture serving Baker Hughes, GE Power, and the ASP network, aiming to deliver high-quality, fast, and cost-effective product and service solutions.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: NoSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and ITIndustriesRepair and Maintenance
