We're hiring an
\n
IT Infrastructure / Systems Engineer to own and evolve our IT infrastructure in Italy, managing complex systems while driving ongoing improvements.
\n
You'll act as the local infrastructure lead, working closely with the wider European IT team. This role suits a well-rounded engineer with broad technical exposure (e.g. Act as the local infrastructure owner for the Italian site, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of local IT systems
\n
Manage lifecycle of servers, virtualization platforms, network components, and security infrastructure
\n
Work closely with a distributed EU IT team, ensuring local infrastructure aligns with central architecture and security standards.
\n
Support and maintain a mixed infrastructure landscape including virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, Nutanix), Windows and Linux servers, networking (VLANs, routing, switching), and firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Check Point).
\n
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across systems, network, and virtualization layers.
\n
Help transition legacy systems to more modern, scalable platforms.
\n
Play a key role in evolving the environment, contributing to initiatives such as Nutanix adoption, Azure integration, and ongoing improvements to networking and security.
\n
Actively share knowledge with the wider EU IT team.
\n
Solid experience in infrastructure or systems engineering roles
\n
Comfortable working in complex, hybrid environments
\n
Able to work independently while collaborating with remote teams
\n
Good level of English
\n
Linux and Windows Server environments
\n
Networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, switching)
\n
Experience with Nutanix and/or Microsoft Azure
\n
Scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
