Job Title: Executive Housekeeper (EH)
Location: Vicenza, Italy
Position Overview:
The Executive Housekeeper (EH) is responsible for the on-site management and oversight of all housekeeping and environmental cleaning (HEC) services at a medical facility. This role ensures full compliance with contract requirements, maintains quality performance, and acts as the primary point of contact for all performance-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the designated on-site authority for the contractor on all performance and quality matters.
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of housekeeping staff to ensure delivery of HEC services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
* Implement and execute the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan (QCP), including submission of inspection reports and corrective action plans.
* Maintain consistent communication with the COR during duty hours and respond to inquiries within designated timeframes.
* Be available on-site within one (1) working day of notification and within two (2) hours after-hours if required.
* Submit required deliverables and reports as specified in the contract.
Certification Requirements:
* Must hold or obtain one of the following certifications:
* Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) – AHE
* Certified/Registered Environmental Services Executive (C/RESE) – IEHA
Experience Requirements:
* Minimum of two (2) years HEC experience within the last five (5) years in a medical facility with inpatient, outpatient, and surgical specialties.
Management Expectations:
* Supervise on-site personnel and ensure adequate staffing.
* Provide or designate a manager (e.g., Group Leader, Shift Supervisor) available during duty hours for communication.
* Maintain an after-hours notification process for emergency or urgent matters.
