Operates and performs unit level troubleshooting and maintenance of the assigned microwave radio equipment and associated ancillary equipment, like multiplexers, channel banks, interface/adapter devicesManages detailed testing procedures to localize and diagnose causes of equipment malfunction or failureTroubleshoots and restores repaired microwave radio equipment to ensure channel and link parameters are metCarry out other duties as directed
Requirements
Basic knowledge on the microwave systems, wave guides and parabolic antennasBasic knowledge on Digital Line of sight (DLOS) systemsBasic knowledge on the TCP/IP protocol and IP management conceptsMinimum three years related professional experience on radio frequency communications systemsBasic knowledge on Data Communications conceptsBasic knowledge of the PCM and TDM technologyBasic knowledge on the modulation/demodulation techniquesPrevious experience on the use of data analyzer test equipmentMinimum three years related professional experience in the communications system field
Educational/Training
Higher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training leading to a formal technical or professional certification with 4 years function related experience or a Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 6 years post-related experience
Language Requirements
