PbRole Summary /b /ppThis is a contract-based position (contractor) with project funding for 3 years. /ppbr/ppThe bGlobal Learning Enablement Manager /b plays a key role in delivering the GS1 Member Organisation (MO) Enablement Programme, supporting the implementation of the GS1 Vision 2030 strategy across the GS1 MOs and the GS1 federation. /ppbr/ppThis is a delivery and content-driven role focused on translating strategy into practical, high-quality enablement assets, business learning experiences, and engagement activities for MOs. The role combines hands-on content production and maintenance of enablement tools, with project and stakeholder coordination, ensuring enablement initiatives are relevant, scalable, and impactful. /ppbr/ppWorking closely with Global Office (GO) experts and MOs worldwide, the Global GS1 technical Learning Enablement Manager identifies enablement needs, designs fit-for-purpose solutions, and ensures consistent execution, measurement, and continuous improvement. /ppbr/ppThe role reports to the Director of Customer Service, Training and MO Enablement and operates at the intersection of strategy, learning design, and operational delivery. /ppbr/ppbKey Responsibilities /b /ppbr/ppbEngagement Content and Learning Delivery /b /pulliAssess MO and GO technical needs, identify capability gaps, and recommend the most effective enablement approach (format, channel, tools). /liliDesign end-to-end GS1 related technical/standard training and enablement initiatives aligned with Vision 2030 priorities. /liliDefine success metrics and monitor engagement and effectiveness. /liliProduce high-quality enablement assets (slides, guides, templates, content, videos, and any relevant) in-house and/or in collaboration with external agencies, as needed. /liliCoordinate Global Office and Member Organisation stakeholders for complex asset development requiring review cycles and refinements based on the diverse needs of the GS1 regions or segments. /liliEnsure consistency, usability, accessibility, and brand alignment across all materials. /li /ulpbr/ppbWebinars and Sessions /b /pulliDesign and deliver enjoyable GS1 related technical/standards webinars and in-person sessions, coordinating speakers and participants. /liliPrepare speaker-ready materials (agendas, flows, presentations, notes). /liliManage end-to-end coordination: planning, logistics, communications, follow-up, and publication of outputs. /liliAdapt content and facilitation to different regional contexts and MO maturity levels. /li /ulpbr/ppbProject, Stakeholder and Programme Management /b /pulliOwn end-to-end delivery of the MO Enablement programme, including prioritisation, planning, dependencies, governance, approvals, and execution. /liliCoordinate GO and MO stakeholders to align priorities and ensure timely decision-making and delivery. /liliMaintain and continuously improve enablement tools and platforms (including CRM and knowledge management systems) to support scalable delivery and insight-driven decision-making. /liliAnalyse results by MO segment and maturity level, using insights to adjust priorities, formats, and approaches for maximum impact. /liliDefine and track programme metrics aligned to Vision 2030 outcomes, including MO engagement, adoption, capability progression, and reuse of enablement assets. /liliProvide clear executive-level reporting on progress, risks, outcomes, and recommendations to support continuous improvement and strategic alignment. /li /ulpbr/ppbEducation and Experience /b /pulliMinimum 4 years’ experience within the GS1 system, with a strong understanding of GS1 standards, services, and the GS1 federation. /lili5+ years’ experience in technical/standards training and engagement, learning content development and delivery, project management, or similar delivery-focused roles. /liliProven experience working in international, cross-cultural environments. /liliMaster’s degree preferred. /li /ulpbr/ppbSkills /b /pulliStrong experience designing and delivering effective technical/standard training and engagement initiatives, both virtual and in person. /liliMaster of instructional design and solution development. /liliAbility to translate needs into clear objectives, learning journeys, and fit-for-purpose materials. /liliStrong capability to assess stakeholder needs, identify gaps, and recommend the most effective formats, channels, and tools. /liliExperience in programme and project delivery. /liliExperience managing multiple workstreams in an international, matrixed environment. /liliStrong stakeholder management and influence. /liliStrong communication skills and the ability to engage, align, and influence senior and diverse stakeholders. /liliAbility to define KPIs, track engagement and effectiveness, and use insights to improve impact. /liliDisciplined approach to content quality, lifecycle management, and hands-on use of enablement tools and platforms. /liliAdaptability learning mindset: comfortable operating in evolving environments and continuously updating knowledge, including GS1 standards and services. /li /ulpbr/ppThis job may require up to 20% global travel. /ppbr/ppbIMPORTANT! /b Please refrain from contacting hiring managers on LinkedIn.
