We are looking for a Python Tech Lead to guide our backend engineering team in designing, building, and optimizing scalable software solutions.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of technical decisions, ensure code quality, and mentor the team while contributing hands-on to the development of the company's core platforms.
Responsibilities:
Lead the technical design and development of Python-based projects, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
Architect scalable software systems (microservices, REST APIs, integrations).
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Mentor and support developers, promoting engineering best practices (code review, testing, CI/CD).
Plan, estimate, and monitor development activities across multiple projects.
Contribute hands-on to code implementation and complex problem-solving.
Oversee release management, production deployments, and application performance monitoring.
Technical Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Python and major frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask).
Experience with microservices architectures, REST APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools.
Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
Nice to Have:
Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Familiarity with data processing tools (Pandas, Spark, Airflow).
Contributions to open-source projects or involvement in tech communities.
Education & Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
5+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
