Position: Buildings and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Maintenance Specialist
The BaSE Maintenance Specialist supports the protection of UPS resources and structures, manages maintenance and continuous improvement of UPS conveyor systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, calibration, analysis, and regulation of conventional systems, responding to emergency calls and faults, and expediting repairs. The specialist proactively identifies equipment or human interface causes of system defects, manages necessary building maintenance or repairs based on resource protection audits and local regulations, and supports operational needs, union requests, and feedback from local authorities.
The role is key in building management, resource protection, and cost-efficient building maintenance. Ensures compliance and safety of UPS resources and structures by applying UPS and local regulations, closing CAPs from self-audits, conducting feasibility studies, executing small projects, modifications of buildings/conveyor belts, and workplace renovations. Manages budgets and ensures economic maintenance within their area of responsibility.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or technical diploma (preferred)
Experience in facility management (preferred)
Experience with conveyor systems (preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Competence in Microsoft Office products
Good knowledge of English
Valid B driving license
Flexible working hours and availability for frequent short trips within the national territory
Full-time position, working hours from 08:00 to 19:00
