About the role:
To strengthen our quality assurance at each stage of the finished product, we are seeking a Shoes Fashion Accessories Quality Manager based in Scandicci (FI), close to our Industrial teams (Development Industrialisation) and manufacturers. This role involves managing the quality of materials and finished products during pre-production, production, and aftersales phases.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
For Shoes and Fashion Accessories (Bijoux, textile accessories, etc.), you will be responsible for:
Quality Pre-production
Participation in technical reviews - defect analysis, risk assessments in collaboration with the industrial department and suppliers
Coordination of finished product tests and defining quality tolerances for production
Quality in Production
Validation of Masters/TDS in collaboration with the Industrialisation team
Approval of inline production processes
Approval of first production samples
Planning quality control and invoicing
Batch release for production
Monitoring production quality KPIs (calculation, analysis, reporting to Brand Management suppliers)
Continuous improvement of quality processes at suppliers and manufacturers
Continuous Improvement and Aftersales
Supporting the network before sales and handling aftersales claims
Monitoring network quality KPIs (calculation, analysis, reporting to Brand Management suppliers)
Managing quality alerts
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
10+ years of experience in Shoes Technician roles with a focus on Quality Control and Industrialisation
Technical knowledge of main finished product components (leathers, fabrics, metal parts) for Elegant, Casual, and Sneakers categories
Data-driven and proactive approach aiming for excellence
Fluent in Italian and proficient in English
Strong command of Excel and PowerPoint
Leadership and Project Management skills
Open-minded, positive, rigorous, and organized
Willingness to travel frequently in Europe (driving license preferred)
