Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end material planning and inventory management, playing a key role in ensuring production continuity and operational performance. You will actively contribute to balancing service level and stock optimization, supporting decision-making across the supply chain. This role offers strong exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes and the opportunity to contribute to key operational improvements.

This role is contributing to the ELSP - Smart Power Division / 3101 Low Voltage System in Italy-Dalmine.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Defining inventory policies based on specified segmentation.
- Calculating and maintaining the inventory parameters, including safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead time, and replenishment strategies, in the planning systems and the ERP platforms.
- Coordinating material planning with call-offs to ensure that purchase requisitions are converted into purchase orders in collaboration with operations buyers and services.
- Collaborating with buyers to improve supplier performance, ensuring reliability, flexibility, and alignment with production needs.

Qualifications for the role
- Education: You have a high school diploma combined with extensive hands-on experience in material planning, supply chain, and operations. Practical experience in managing planning processes and optimizing inventory is considered a key strength. A degree in Management Engineering or Supply Chain would be considered a plus.
- Languages: Ability to communicate fluently in both Italian and English.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, reporting) and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) is a strong plus.
- Experience: Proven experience (at least 3/4) in supply chain and material planning within complex operational environments. Demonstrated ability to balance service level and inventory optimization, ensuring production continuity while minimizing excess stock and improving overall planning efficiency. The role plays a key part in supporting production performance and operational decision-making.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to problem solving. Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with proven experience collaborating cross-functionally across production, procurement, and logistics. Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage and challenge external suppliers, ensuring alignment with planning priorities, delivery commitments, and service level expectations. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational performance.
Compensation Package

- Minimum annual salary: € 39.000
- Variable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
