Project Contract Administrator

Job Overview
This role supports the project team as a Contract Administrator in our offices in Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Milan. Locations: Berlin, Düsseldorf, Milan.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the contracts lifecycle during project execution and warranty phases, including drafting and reviewing amendments.
* Provide guidance on contractual clauses and requirements.
* Champion change management: draft and review change orders, claims, back charges, penalties, and defend incoming claims.
* Safeguard contractual obligations, track notifications and milestones.
* Promote contract awareness: prepare reviews, lead induction meetings, issue reports, interpretations and assessments.
* Liaise with corporate functions such as finance, legal, compliance, and IP on specific matters and disputes.
* Draft and review contractual correspondence between Prysmian, customers and joint venture/consortium partners.
* Verify that all required insurances and guarantees are in place.
* Assist purchasing in negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and vendors, including back‑to‑back subcontracts.
* Contribute to project close‑out activities, ensuring certificates are issued (milestone completion, handover, acceptance).

Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Law or Business Administration.
* 3‑5 years of experience as a Contract Manager.
* Proven knowledge of EPCI contracts; experience with FIDIC, NEC or World Bank Terms.
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills in an international setting.
* Experience in managing and mitigating project risks.
* Proficiency in German and English (C1 or higher).
* Critical thinking, problem‑solving, planning, teamwork and communication skills.
