Your Role
For our digital department, we are looking for a Scrum Master. S/he will coach the organization and support the scrum teams – the Product Owners and Developers – in the pursuit of continuously improving product development through understanding and applying agile and Scrum principles, practices and methods. The Scrum Master is a modern-day leader who uses professional mentoring techniques to promote co-participation in order to get the best contribution from all team members and achieve business value. S/he helps to create an atmosphere where teams can be effective and evolve in the work that they do. S/he will work to remove impediments that stand in the way of the team’s success.
S/he also helps the organization to become a fertile ecosystem for agility, coaching and teaching at various levels and departments in the company. In particular S/he:
1. Guides the Developers and the surrounding organization to continuously improve by applying the principles, practices and methods of agility and Scrum
2. Observes with a critical spirit, the day-to-day working of the team
3. Gives feedback to the team on what and how to improve in their day-to-day work
4. Teaches the team how to interact amongst themselves (collaboration) and with the organization
5. Deals with conflict in a constructive way and facilitate meetings
6. Cares about motivation (both at team and individual level)
7. Acts as a change agent and evangelist for agility
8. Embraces an entrepreneurial spirit to studying and learning in order to identify new ways of continuous improvement
Your Profile
9. 3-5 years of Scrum Master experience, Scrum master certification is considered a plus
10. Strong implementation of the theory, practices, principles and methods of agility and Scrum
11. Experience working in software product development teams, ideally in medium to large-size product development groups that were applying agility and Scrum principles and practices
12. Excellent communication skills and capability of interfacing with various organizational roles
13. Great mentoring and coaching skills and good facilitation skills
14. Knowledge of common approaches in the Agile space such as XP, Kanban, and Lean and understanding of the appropriate context for their benefits
15. Experience in numerous, well-documented patterns and techniques used by software product development teams working with agile methods (such as retrospective formats, backlog creation techniques, estimation techniques)
16. Experience in MOM product development is a plus
17. Education in coaching and mentoring is a plus
18. Fluent in English
19. Possibility of working in a hybrid mode
