Your roleAs an M&A; intern in the Global M&A; and Corporate Development Team, you will gain a unique perspective on the Group's strategy and external growth plans. The internship provides a privileged learning experience with exposure to top-level management and strategic decision-making, with a holistic view on how transactions are originated and executed. The position will challenge your technical, financial, presentation and communication skills and develop your work ethic to perform in a fast-paced environment.This is a 6-month paid internship requiring full-time commitment. Hybrid work environment.Main Responsibilities
Financial analysis: Collect and review business and financial information about potential acquisition targets, discussing key findings with other team members.Presentations: Prepare PowerPoint presentation decks for top management to assess acquisition opportunities and provide recurring team updates.Valuation: Build and maintain financial models to perform valuation analyses and calculate transaction economics.Collaboration: Interact with team members from other company divisions (product, procurement, marketing, tax, legal, treasury, etc.).Process support: Join ongoing acquisition/divestiture processes and support the rest of the team throughout all process stages.Market monitoring: Analyse market developments and trends.
Main Requirements
At least one previous full-time internship (more than 3 months) in M&A;, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategy consulting, financial accounting/audit, or similar fields at a large company.Strong academic track record, currently enrolled or recently graduated from a top-tier master's degree program in economics, finance, management, mathematics, engineering, or similar fields.Strong financial modelling skills and advanced experience with Excel & PowerPoint.Experience with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, LSEG Workspace, FactSet, Mergermarket, Cerved, etc.) is preferred.Strong grasp of accounting, corporate finance, and investment banking subjects.General business acumen and interest in EssilorLuxottica Group operations and history.Capable of performing under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
