This role is responsible for race car electronics management and to guarantee the correct software configuration and functionality of all electronic devices. The role requires attendance to roughly 8 events (tests and races).Responsibilities:Electronic Systems
Software programming and calibration parameters for sensors and actuators.Electronics car setup proceduresManagement of logging and real time telemetry systemsElectrical systems diagnosticsElectrical system-related data analysisTrack activity reportsCommunicate effectively with external suppliers at the track (PU supplier, FOM, FIA, EMM, Magneti Marelli) for all electrical system related topics
Communication and Professionalism
Liase with electricians and control engineers and produce job list for electrical system activitiesLiase with other relevant groups at the track for all electrical system related topics (gearbox and systems, mechanics, engineers,...)To always work in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro-active in managing all the activities under their responsibility
Experience needed
Former extensive professional experience in motorsport industryKnowledge of Motion Applied software tools currently used in F1 or similar, including data analysis and configuration toolsKnowledge of a race car electrical system, together with knowledge of its mechanical and hydraulic systemsThe position is based in Faenza (Italy), but travelling with race/test team is part of the dutiesFluency in English is required, fluency in Italian is a plus
