PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Manage and develop selected customers of the Global NVO Program by implementing and executing a successful strategy. Overall goal of the program is to develop opportunities in order to increase volume faster and yield a higher CL2 for GNP than Hapag-Lloyd overall, to and from Region in line with the company strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Develop/Create regional strategy for the accounts under incumbent’s scope of responsibility.
* Co-develop annual budget, quarterly forecast and trends with support from Director.
* Formulate and agree on performance targetswith customers to meet both customer expectations and company goals.
* Ensure GNP Budgets are met
* Accountable for allocation management in line with the Budget supported by trade management.
* Manage opportunities (using company tools) and effectively offer the same in line with company strategy.
* Drive customer dialogue in the regionand build/expand relationship.
* Understand GNPs requirements / specifics.
* Drive regional performance for direct strategic customers in line with overall company strategy.
* Attends to escalations from customers and ensure to provide quality and timely feedback.
* Serve as a key escalation and focal point for our customers, Global Account Managers and other internal stakeholders.
* Be fully accountable for Performance Management for GNP for all Areas in the Region.
* Actively drive and supportactions on Niche, Growing Markets and Inland
* Act as trade specialist and point of entry for trade management
* Implement all initiatives on Digitization in close cooperation with the Digital Project team in HQ and the GSC.
* Monitor and drive improvement in regards to Business Administration part of our business, including but not limited to Overdue and Dispute Management
* Liaise with worldwide officesand proactively communicate with customers.
* Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all services that Hapag-Lloyd offers and ensures that the information given to the cus- tomer base is accurate.
* Search potential issues proactively and inform customers to offer solutions/ alternatives.
* Proactively developing market knowledge on all relevantaspects of the liner industryand logistics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
University Degree
At least four yearsof relevant experience in Liner Shipping with pref- erably a commercial background in Global Account Management
Highly motivated to achieve giventargets
Role model in the cooperation with customers and other HL departments
Excellent interpersonal and analytical problemsolving skills
Able to deal with confidential information
Willing to take ownership of tasks and responsibility
Well organized with good time management skills
Ability to recognize and attend to multiple facetsin issues and problems
