Job Opportunity: Project Scheduler / Controller for Process Plants
VTU is seeking a skilled Project Scheduler / Controller for Process Plants responsible for project planning, control, and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience and proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera (mandatory) and MS Project. If you enjoy traveling, face challenges with enthusiasm, and possess problem-solving skills, you will thrive in this role. You should be capable of interfacing professionally with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project progress.
You will also be responsible for scheduling and controlling key EPCM projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Creating and managing project schedules at various levels of detail for different project phases;
2. Developing workforce plans and scheduling in advance;
3. Assessing, defining, and managing project criticalities;
4. Monitoring project progress and evaluating progress curves;
5. Regularly updating project performance;
6. Preparing detailed progress reports for clients, including project phases achieved;
7. Reporting on events impacting planning and comparing actual vs. planned progress with short-term action plans.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven work experience in the sector;
* Good command of the English language;
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team;
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
* Customer-oriented attitude and conflict management skills;
* Experience in cost control is preferred;
* Membership in protected categories according to Law 68/99 is a plus.
