Financial Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced financial leader to join our team in Trieste, Italy. As a key member of our organization, you will oversee the Accounts Payable, General Accounting and Payroll functions across multiple jurisdictions in the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Accounts Payable function across the EMEA region.
* Oversee and support the general accounting team during the month-end close process, focusing on areas of higher risk and complexity.
* Lead and manage the payroll process, coordinating with the payroll provider to deliver all payroll-related tasks.
* Oversee statutory and non-financial reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions within EMEA.
* Support the board of directors in company secretarial matters.
* Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.
* Minimum 5 years post-qualified experience, including managing general accounting and payroll functions.
* Excellent working knowledge and understanding of accounting practices, standards and regulations.
* Technically strong, with significant financial reporting experience in Italy and across Europe.
* Accounts payable management experience.
