HR MANAGER
For important industrial multinational Company we are looking for an HR Manager.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the HR Country Leader, the HR Manager will focus on two plants in Northern Italy including 4 legal entities and provide local partnership and advice to the local business leaders, while working in close collaboration with the other HR team members. The role will supervise 4 resources.
General Responsibilities:
1. Execute HR plans, processes and programs aligned with business objectives and overall HR strategy;
2. Contribute to the development of a local business strategy, its implementation and communication through translation into measurable functional and individual objectives.
3. Develop and maintain the local HR policies. Ensure that HR practices and policies comply with statutory/government regulations;
4. Support operational activities such as employee life cycle activities and documentation, payroll checks and supervision, reporting, labor cost calculations, on and off boarding.
5. Provide local support during annual processes such as PMP (Performance management process), Development Planning, Compensation Planning cycle, Employee Engagement;
6. Support local managers on Organizational design;
7. Collaborate with and provide counsel and coaching to local leadership and managers, individual contributors, other HR team members on critical issues impacting the business and /or work environment to make sure these get resolved and to drive continuous improvement.
8. Manage and coordinate outsourcing vendors
9. Lead and participate in the negotiations with the unions and collective bargaining agreement, addressing union related issues (5 Trade Unions)
10. Monitor the correct application of labor law, CCNL rules and manage disciplinary/litigation procedures.
11. Supervise the Talent Acquisition, Training /& Development, Time & Attendance and Payroll processes
Workplace : Eastern province of Milano. Travel required to other company sites in northern Italy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
12. Degree in business, organizational development, human resources or other related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
13. 3 to 8 years progressive HR experience
14. Demonstrated experience in HR operations combined with a working knowledge and application of safety, health, compensation, recruitment, performance management.
15. Knowledge/experience of employment laws in Italy
16. Demonstrated experience of working with local works councils and Unions.
17. Experience coaching and mentoring leaders and teams to achieve success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
25. Other business experience (, sales, operations, etc)
26. Experience in a manufacturing environment
27. Knowledge/experience with competencies for development or recruitment
28. Prior experience working within a complex matrix organization
29. Knowledge and experience in organizational development, team dynamics, leading and inspiring change in and throughout the organization
