PpThe Trading Algo Specialist plays a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimization of advanced algorithmic trading systems within the company’s Algo Technology team. This position focuses on designing and building scalable, high-performance, and compliant software solutions that power trading and market‑making activities across multiple cross‑asset (including fixed income) products. Working closely with Traders, Quantitative Analysts, Developers and other technology teams, the Trading Algo Specialist ensures that the company’s platforms deliver speed, stability, and intelligence in highly competitive financial markets. The role demands deep financial understanding, accountability, basic technical expertise and a proactive mindset dedicated to client success, product quality, and operational efficiency. /p h3Job Responsibilities / Role /h3 ul liDesign and maintain low‑latency algorithmic trading strategies and applications for cross‑asset (including fixed income) products. /li liEnsure the scalability, performance, and reliability of the company’s trading platforms. /li liCollaborate directly with Traders, Quants, Developers and Product teams to align technology with business and client requirements. /li liCollaborate directly with developers to support the implementation of clients’ complex financial requirements that may not be easily understood from a technical perspective. /li liCollaborate directly with the Quality Assurance team to define testing cases and guarantee proper testing coverage. /li liGuarantee accountability, autonomy, and efficiency in all algo design activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulatory standards. /li liTroubleshoot performance issues and ensure continuous optimization of algorithmic trading workflows. /li liContribute to client success and customer care by ensuring the delivery of robust, compliant, and high‑quality solutions. /li liProvide regular updates and report activities to management. /li /ul h3Trading Algo Design and Development /h3 ul liTranslate clients’ algo trading requirements into detailed specifications that will be implemented by developers. /li liCollaborate with Traders, Quants and Developers to develop and refine trading algorithms that respond accurately to market dynamics. /li liOptimize performance at design level to ensure reliable operation in real‑time trading environments. /li liMaintain comprehensive and structured documentation of trading algorithms. /li liContribute to the evolution of the company’s trading framework to support scalability and reusability across products and regions. /li /ul h3Quality, Accountability, Efficiency, and Compliance /h3 ul liTake full ownership of trading algorithms and ensure delivery in line with deadlines, SLAs, and quality expectations. /li liApply rigorous testing, regression testing, and performance validation to ensure product stability and compliance, in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team. /li liMaintain strict confidentiality of trading algorithms, proprietary code, and client data. /li liContribute to defining and enforcing best practices in testing, release governance, and production readiness. /li liUphold accountability and professionalism in all algo design decisions, ensuring clarity of ownership and alignment with company goals. /li liProvide regular updates and report activities to management. /li /ul h3Collaboration and Client Success /h3 ul liWork in close partnership with Traders, Quants, Product Owners, Business Analysis, Developers and Quality Assurance teams to deliver tailored solutions aligned with client needs. /li liTranslate user feedback and business requirements into actionable technical improvements. /li liCommunicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders, ensuring transparency, reliability, and responsiveness. /li liPromote a culture centered on client success, customer care, and operational excellence in every aspect of software delivery. /li liActively contribute to maintaining trusted relationships with clients by ensuring the reliability and competitiveness of the company’s trading solutions. /li /ul h3Learning, Growth, and Contribution /h3 ul liCommit to continuous professional growth through on-the-job learning and self-study. /li liStay informed about new technologies, best practices, trading workflows, and financial markets. /li liShow initiative, curiosity, and dedication to becoming a fully autonomous trading algorithms specialist. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBSC in Financial Engineering or relevant field. /li liDeep knowledge of financial markets and electronic trading workflows /li liProved experience on trading algorithms design. /li liUnderstanding of software development life cycle and of computing fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, concurrency, design patterns). /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with an eye for detail and optimization. /li liAccountability, efficiency, and autonomy in managing deliverables and commitments. /li liExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact directly with Traders and Quants. /li liHigh level of professionalism, confidentiality, and respect for compliance requirements. /li liTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to inspire and elevate colleagues. /li liFluency in English and Italian. /li liMotivation for continuous learning and growth in financial software and algorithmic trading technologies. /li /ul pWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
