Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the design and development of embedded software for avionics display systems such as PFD, MFD, touchscreen controls, and helmet‑mounted displays using Model‑Based Design methodologies.Implement graphics for touchscreen displays with a proper HMI, emphasizing flight‑test operations pilot workload.Manage the software life cycle in accordance with applicable standards (DO‑178C, DO‑331, ARP‑4754A).Integrate application software onto target systems.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of hardware, software, and system engineering.Define software requirements.QualificationsDegree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, Automation, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering).Proven experience with MATLAB/Simulink and software development in C/C++.Knowledge of real‑time safety‑critical embedded software development aspects.Interest in Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) aspects.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.Clear and structured communication in technical environments.Proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.Seniority & LocationSeniority: Primary location – IT, Varese, Cascina Costa.
