Position Overview We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our Distribution Center in Legnano (MI), reporting to the Distribution Center Manager and coordinating a team of around 13 operators. The Warehouse supervisor is responsible for all aspects of warehouse management as leading in the best possible way the operations inside the warehouse, coordinating the workers, organizing the production, supporting the sales team ensuring a smooth flow of communication between sales, purchasing and operative department. The resource will also be responsible of analyzing custom-made solutions and ensures customer needs are met and followed in respect of Prysmian rules and procedures. Major responsibilities: - Managing the warehouse team in order to get to the given target requested in the MP and in the monthly forecast; - ensuring all warehouse employees are held accountable for assigned results analyzing workload and distribute it evenly; - Ensure that guidance of DC organizational principles is followed and processed, prioritising critical performance and measures for all warehouse employees roles. - Operators time-keeping ‘s management taking charge of holidays, permissions, sickness leave, overtime to be approved by management; - Supervise, together with the Quality and HSE department, that all the procedures are known and followed according to the law and company requirements; - support quality and HSE dept. with ISO / OHSAS certifications and periodical audits; - ensure all the machineries are revised and perfectly working, also in according to the law requirement and verify that all the periodical checks are carried out; - Supports Monitoring and register of the warehouse efficiencies (cutting) and increase its level, increase overall WH efficiency and customer satisfaction, maintains the system and propose improvements to reduce the manual interaction; - Support in the analysis of claims, help analyze the root cause and propose a valid solution; - Active agent in establishing the zero and beyond culture and supervise the observance of safety on work place; - Monitor finished goods level and together with procurement dept help to prepare analytics for change of sales strategy; - Actively support in yearly analysis and proposal to the management the necessary investments to keep the business effective and to improve the warehouse capability (CAPEX proposals); - support monitoring of consumption and stock level in order to help plan and settle a coherent inventory level to be complaint to the given target, managing the SLOBS material; - Twice per year organize the stocktaking procedure together with Controlling Dept; - Closely cooperate to improve logistic changes and procedures.
