Job Description
Provides process engineering and controls support, plans, and conducts activities related to developing new processes, researching technologies, evaluating process options, and performing process characterization and optimization. Ensures regulatory, safety, and environmental compliance for new products, processes, and equipment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct validation studies on manufacturing equipment and processes.
* Plan, coordinate, and implement qualification of new and improved manufacturing processes and equipment.
* Perform validations and project engineering activities to optimize or transfer manufacturing processes.
* Ensure safety standards and develop control charts and operational indicators to drive improvements.
* Manage resources for projects to meet quality, financial, EH&S, and process improvement goals.
* Participate in process and equipment design, execution of Process Excellence projects, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
* Prepare technical reports and communicate project status and issues effectively.
* Work with manufacturing teams to develop and troubleshoot processes and control systems.
* Manage project activities, including data analysis, protocol writing, and documentation.
Experience & Education
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical) or equivalent.
* 2-4+ years related experience preferred.
* Skills in Microsoft Office, Minitab, and project management tools; experience with Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, & Certifications
* Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
* Knowledge of GMP, QSR, ISO 13485, and statistical problem-solving methodologies.
* Ability to lead projects, manage change, and build cross-functional teams.
